It is hard to measure progress daily as it is minimal. However, from one week to the next there are significant distances. A week ago I just started using the cane now I hardly use it at all. I am significantly stronger on every exercise and my walk is improving.
Today's walk was 1.3 miles in 22:55. The pace was a little slower due to a different route with a lot of turns. Also, my shins felt sore today. The cane might have touched the ground 10x during the walk.
Started outpatient PT. Did Tens unit, 1 leg squats, let ext, leg curl, calf, balance board. Nothing ground breaking or hard. I need to stretch my right oblique to get even.
I went for another little walk to push my son around in his buggy I put together today for him today. He loved it so the 90 minutes it took to put together was worth it.
I have needed a nap the last 3 days which is odd because I hadn't napped in awhile. But, I look at it as extra recovery. I will be able to drive myself to pt next week and will get myself back to the gym in some capacity.
